overview of class

In class we talked about how some of the characters had dreams and how the two people who had big dreams died in the act of trying to fulfill their dream.  Myrtle dreamed of being with Nick and living a rich life but it just would never happen for her.  She died trying to run out to the car that drove by thinking that it was Nick.  The other person who died in the act of trying to achieve his dream was Gatsby.  He was accused for doing something that he didn’t actually do.  Daisy had been the one who killed Myrtle and Gatsby had to die for her.  It seems that Myrtle and Gatsby had to take the fall for both of their lovers.  Tom and Daisy would be the real one at fault but they are the ones who never get in trouble for what they did.
