chapter 25-28

William left Mr. Sands because he had promised William freedom and it never came.  Mr. Sands kept taking William around with him all over the states.  Eventually William got annoyed and when they were in a northern state left with some abolitionist.  William did what he needed to do.  It seemed that Mr. Sands was not going to be freeing him anytime soon or at all.  William finally decided to take his freedom in his own hands.  I think that William did the right thing because he probably would have never been freed.  Then again he might not have as good of a life as a free man than he did as a slave with Mr. Sands.
