Love like for a slave is hard to have. Linda did know a guy and she loved him a lot. He proposed to her but she couldn’t marry him because her master wanted her for himself. It is hard to have a relationship with another slave because most of the times you cannot get married to them or anything. Her master threatened her when she told him her intentions. He achieved to get her to stay with him but she still wanted to be with her “lover.” It causes pain in them because they have to do what their master tells them to or they get punished.
