Apprentices

Apprentices do not like Eustace because he works them too hard and he expects a great deal out of them.  He works them as hard as possible and he wants nothing but perfection from them on everything.  This pushes people away because they cannot handle the strenuous hours.  Each person who goes through Turtle Island think that it will be fun and that they will be learning a lot about nature but it ends up being over the top for them and they cannot handle it.  It is hard to for people to have the same work ethic as Eustace does.  I don’t think I would want to work for Eustace because I would not like at all the long work hours and how much he expects out of his apprentices.  It would be too much and there would be no time for fun or relaxation.

I agree. Not very many people have the worth ethic Eustace has, which doesn't necessarily mean they have bad work ethics, they are just used to working 12 hour days instead of 15. The young people were definitely looking for a little fun while they were living their dreams. I would not want to work with him either. I could not handle him on my case 24/7. I would completely loose it!!

I agree with what you said, about the apprentices think that they are going to have fun and be in the nature.
How they want to find themselves. But it turns out that they are doing difficult long work.
And I don't think i would be able to work for him, though i would like the challenge. !
