The organization I chose was Child Advocate Inc. It is an organization that helps with abused children. They help them through their court date and to make sure that they find a safe home. I chose this advocacy group because they help make the child feel wanted and make sure that they aren’t forgotten. This is a good thing because the child has just gone through a traumatic event. I think that this group does a good thing by bringing in volunteers to help with the kids and find out important information for their trials. They also make sure that the child does find a safe home and if that means after the parent has gone through a class that they get to go back to them then that is fine. They just want to find the best fit for the child.

I had only heard that name in passing and knew nothing about it. This group seems really interesting to me and i definitely think it is a great organization! Children are a minority group that often need to most help being fought or because they can not help themselves most of the time, so this group is great!
